Energy effciency is important due to both environmental and financial concerns, and for this reason we supply Pilkington  energiKare glass, a state of the art glass from the worlds foremost supplier.

Windows can be supplied in a wide range of styles, and can be fixed or opening with the hinge at the top or either side. From impressive curving bay and bow windows to standard casement windows, we can supply and fit a style to suit your home. Each window will be individually tailored for a superb fit. Our windows are available with Securiclips to prevent the removal of the glazing units, and Stay Guards for additional security in the hinge area, locking handles and a shootbolt locking mechanism with dead lock, so they can keep out more than just the weather.
We can supply a wide range of door styles, from stylish double opening French doors and sliding patio doors to standard entrance doors, in a wide range of styles. All our sliding patio doors have advanced security features, so whether you decide to have them looking directly over your garden or linking your home to the conservatory - you can be sure your home is well protected. Entrance doors are available with a range of matching sidelights, to add not just light, but also a touch of elegance to your home. Our entrance doors are fitted with a multi bolt and hook lock, and fully adjustable hinges with an anti lift device. All door locks are supplied to the PAS 23 and 24 industry standard, and are approved by the Association of British Insurers.

The multichamber design of the frame provides enhanced thermal properties

As well as the standard C rated windows that will be required in order to comply with building regulations from 1st October, we are pleased to be able to offer superior A rated windows.

 

By combining high thermal effciency frames with an improved glazing unit A rated windows provide savings to both utility bills, and the environment.

Glazing for A rated windows incorporates a number of improvements -

 

Standard double glazed units use a metal spacer around the edge of the glass, but while this provides good structural properties, the metal provides an easy way for heat to escape. Improvements in materials have led to the development of 'warm edge' spacers which provide the same strength, but with increased thermal effciency.

 

Pilkingot Optiwhite is a recently introduced 'extra clear' glass, allowing more of the suns rays to penetrate the outer glazing layer into the house, while the low emissivity inner glazing layer keeps it in.

 

Argon conducts 30% less heat than air, so the gap between the two glazing layers is Argon filled to improve thermal effciency even further.
